Headliners, The Delorentos are a band drifted together in the usual fashion……… inspired by boredom, creative energy, and a passion for music - Over a period of time that saw others attempt to tie down a description of their sound, they holed up in the wilds of Portrane, Co Dublin (“It’s an amazing place to make music and a key factor in the Delorentos sound.”) and concentrated on writing songs, pure and simple. They had no interest in the frills and fripperies or the empty bombast that occupy other bands; for them it has always been about 4 people communing to harness honest emotion, fashion melodic hooks, and roll out infectious rhythms.
Local balladeers Na Fianna, have been together since March 2007 and are continuously building on their reputation as all highly skilled musicians and powerful singers. The energy and passion on show in each performance is something the band thrives on. Providing additional musical entertainment are local bands The Jury, Bebop Rock Steady & James o’Connor with Audrey Trainor
Gates open in O’ Moore Park at 6.15pm. Families are advised to get there early to enjoy the ghoulish games of the Haunted Village. All ages are welcome. Admission is Free.
